ADHD, Concussions, and Migraines

Here, you will find an on-going assortment of tips and insights, stories and games to help you be more informed about ADHD at home and in the workplace, as well as some personal insights from experience about concussions and some of the things I have found helped me deal with symptoms.  As well, included are stories you may relate to about migraines.

I am not a medical professional nor do I offer up this information as suggestions or advice in any way. Use at your own discretion.

I share this information here with you as I and my family have found some usefulness in it.

Every little bit of understanding helps so much

Most Excellent ADHD Reminders

Every person with ADHD diagnosed experiences varying symptoms. ADHD is I feel, adds to creativity.  People with ADHD are not lazy, nor are they stupid. They are often extremely intelligent, creative, and very effective workers–they get the job done in insightful ways and in record time with quality results–if allowed the freedom within an environment of understanding.  Many people with ADHD are not only very creative but also can think more readily in paradoxical terms, making for amazing managers as they can piece together the many parts to see the overstructure of the whole.

These images tell me that when my son is doing a thing that may look like he forgot, or got distracted, or is not doing anything, it isn’t because he isn’t capable or is lazy. Simply help remind him about the task to focus on.

My son is now 20 years old and has been extremely successful with everything he has done. He has a very impressive resume already.  He wrote these notes for me (very quickly and focused) to help me understand his actions at times.

Migraines--Empathy is understanding

Migraines are different for each person. Not everybody gets them luckily. They tend to run in a family passed on through generations. They are not fun to say the least.

They can be debilitating, down-right painful, make your eyes dilate, stomach upset, vomit, and so many things that just are not easy to cope with especially if you’ve got to work or be a parent and be responsible for your job tasks and other people.

A person with a bad migraine may seem alouf or uninterested, or a clock-watcher, or unfriendly, or grumpy, or all of the above.  They don’t mean to be these things.  It’s simply a manner of coping and surviving the say.

I will be posting up little tips and stories here and more in depth inside the members area of my Patreon. I also go into more detail about the energetics of migraines and what they look like to me energetically.  Learning to become sensitive in this way can help so as to be able to see them on others. Empathy is understanding.

Concussions--long-term

Concussions…they aren’t fun. Auditory sensitivities, headaches, compression to the spine or whiplash, mayofascial tightness, mind cloudiness, memory issues, concentration issues, depression, anger, tiredness, apathy, Pots, and so much more.  People who get hit in the head don’t always get all of these symptoms but I have.  Much better now, luckily, but head injuries can make one humble and taketh awayth the fun for a while. But we get better and move along with life again.

Check out this game I made with websim ai.  I find it helps with my vestibular system.
